Navigating Your Way Around Brighton Town Centre - The Best Ways To See The Sights, Find Hotels & Enjoy Your Holiday In Brighton...

Brighton is a busy city – which means that there can be problems in driving within the city centre, especially during peak seasons. One of the best ways to navigate through the city when you get there is by foot. There is also a reliable and efficient bus service in operation to get to the cities various points of interest.

Further, because the city doesn’t have a huge land mass, most of the points of interest are within walking distance of each other – the sea for instance is very close to the main city centre.

If you do opt for the bus, it’s possible to buy a day pass for £3 (approximately $6) which gives you unrestricted use of the bus service throughout the day (as long as you travel past 9am to avoid the rush hour).

It’s also possible to hire a taxi to get through the city and these are available on a 24 hour a day basis.

Finally, the town is very pro-cycles and many people including some tourists use them to travel through the city. It’s possible to hire a cycle for your stay and more information can be found in the tourist information centre (TIC).

If you do drive, be warned that parking within the town centre can be expensive, and during peak times, quite difficult.
